You can decriminalize us.
Allow Me to Explain
Under current Oregon law (and at least most of the US), pegging is illegal. Forced bi is illegal. And all other scenarios in which I would gladly insert x into your y, for the purposes of pain, humiliation, pleasure and as many other reasons as I see fit, is illegal. I don’t know how frequently I turn people away stating, “I’m sorry, but because of the ignorant sexual repression that infests this god forsaken country, that is illegal to do in exchange for money,” but it is fucking often.
In Oregon, we are working to change this. On July 15th (so close!) we are holding an event to raise awareness. This event is intended to create publicity, media coverage, and political pressure to push for a decrim ballot measure in 2022. Yours truly will be speaking there, among many others. If you watch, you’ll get to see my human side. 🙂
If you’re unable to watch the event and contact your representatives, for the love of all that is holy, do your sexuality a favor and make your voice heard in any way.
Why Decriminalize?
Here are a few reasons to decriminalize sex work and to support sex workers:
- Because sex and fetishism are inherently good and healthy forms of human expression.
- Because the Mistresses that cater to your worthless little needs don’t just deserve to be momentarily worshiped by you, they deserve to be fully decriminalized by all.
- The violence that sex workers experience all over the world is devastating. It cannot be tolerated and criminalization facilitates it. Decriminalization is harm reduction.
